CHURCH OF CHRIST
WILLOW SPRINGS, MISSOURI
This is a new building project designed and managed by Goodman Architects of
Joplin, Missouri. Jordan Audio Consultants designed the
audio and video projection systems early in 2004. In early 2005 Goodman asked us
to assist in the assembly of the system.
The church purchased all the equipment and pieces directly. We
assembled and tested the racks in our Joplin shop. The main speakers were
custom built by Concert Systems LLC of Southbend, Indiana.
Worship services commenced in June. The system came together very
well.
The video projector is located in a ventilated attic space. The
small square hole in the wall allows the image to project into the room will
keeping the fan noise out of the room. It is a bit difficult to see when
aiming and focusing the projector. I suggested a 4" hole in the
wall that could hide behind a clock: we'll see what develops.
The fellowship hall also has a system with nine 2-way eight inch
ceiling speakers. The equipment rack is located beneath the counter
that links the kitchen to the fellowship hall. The cabinet maker
built some very nice doors to hide the gear.
